Vapor diffusion technique is currently used for crystallization of
biological macromolecules but it can also be used for small molecules
compounds. Triana offer now the Crystallization Mushroom, a simple
device made of glass that facilitates the use of the vapor diffusion
technique for protein as well as for small molecules compounds. The
design of the Crystalliszation Mushroom presents several advantages on
currently available devices for crystallization:
 Permits a multi-drop set-up increasing the number of experiments per run.
Avoids condensation above or below the crystallizing drops.
Allows visualization with crossed polarizer, which help to evaluate crystal quality by optical property.
Important: Crystallization Mushroom is made of glass, therefore is
fully reusable and compatible with many solvents used in small molecule
crystallization.
Crystallization Mushroom is available in two different sizes for 8 and 12 drops respectively.
